pictures are unchanging, that's the idea in the first place. if you still want to do something visual, try making films. you can also try writing, where things happen as time passes. paintings can seem more life-like by twisting reality a bit. i suppose you could also try photoshopping photographs but that never seems to work.

at any rate pictures never change, they never really have any life in them at all.

All I can say is that sometimes the art we create when feeling dead and lifeless has just as much of an impact on people as the things we create when joyful and full of life. Don't give up on the possibility that your photos are just the way they should be, right now... See what happens, my friend.
